The Herpetological Garden

Growth and development is very important to the Herpetological Garden project, and we strive to provide something new each and every season for our guests to return to.  

This summer we are proud to introduce our newest addition our juvenile American Alligator affectionately dubbed "Kelly".  While still young, small, and growing, he is not as impressive in stature as adult alligators in other facilities, but does show a great deal more activity and curiosity about his world.

This one animal embodies what the Herpetological Garden Project is all about.
